Andy is co-founder of the DCM Group and has been actively involved in the launch of both private and publicly listed investment funds totalling over £250m in equity. He is responsible for the Group’s new business initiatives and is the CEO of RedTree Securities Ltd, the Group’s FSA authorised and regulated securities business.
Andrew has over 15 years’ investment funds experience. He has coordinated emerging market investments for several funds managed by the DCM Group, with direct involvement in real estate development transactions exceeding €1.5 billion GDV. Before joining the DCM Group in 2004, Andrew was a Partner for 8 years and Head of Investment Funds at Norton Rose, the City and international law firm, where his clients included major institutions involved in asset management and property investment.
Tom co-founded the DCM Group in 1999 and has since then, set up and managed real estate fund management operations in Turkey , India , Eastern Europe and the UK . Tom has himself acted as principal in real estate transactions exceeding £1billion in GDV, in listed and unlisted vehicles created by DCM. He has operated at the land acquisition level through planning and construction to eventual sale. Prior to co-founding the DCM Group, Tom was an associate at Norton Rose, in the Corporate Finance and Investment Funds team.
Working at the intersection of investment and legal matters, Zack is responsible for origination, execution and management of investments and managing cross-border legal, tax and regulatory risks for the DCM Group and its funds. Previously he held the position of Corporate Counsel for Virgin Media Inc., playing a leading role in the successful execution of high profile transactions including the Telewest Group’s $10.6 billion financial restructuring and $6 billion merger with NTL Inc. He qualified as a lawyer with City firm Norton Rose, specialising in M&A, joint ventures and equity fundraisings. Zack holds a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from Brasenose College, Oxford University.
Prior to joining DCM, Gokhan was Business Development Director of ARC Companies LLC, managing relationships with leading Turkish construction companies, establishing partnership structures executing real estate projects in residential, retail, logistics and office sectors. Gokhan’s experience at ARC also included establishing a commercial bank and leasing company. Previously, he was VP Project Finance at Garanti Bank, working with construction companies, investors and financial institutions on a variety of private and public projects, and Area Manager - Financial Institutions at Ottoman Bank. He has an MBA from Koc University and degree in Civil Engineering.
Hassan joined the DCM Group in 2006 to run its real estate development business in Algeria. Previously, he worked as Business Development Analyst at the Black & Veatch engineering group, responsible for several large scale tenders for Algerian engineering projects and subsequently at RADES Properties and Investments Limited managing the restructuring of existing residential real estate in Belgium.
Previously Head of the WestLB Metals & Mining team, Chris successfully arranged a number of award-winning and high-profile mining financings. His specialist expertise is advising and arranging finance for companies looking to develop natural resource projects in challenging markets. His experience includes roles as Director and Global Head of Financial Modelling and Analysis at the Royal Bank of Scotland, and 8 years working for the Mining & Metals team at Barclays Capital. During his career, Chris has arranged over 30 natural resource financings globally, with an aggregate value of several billion dollars.
Howard joined DCM from the WestLB Metals & Mining team following previous technical roles at Brook Hunt Mining & Metals Consultants, as Project Manager for a private Central Asian gold company and more than 6 years with Rio Tinto as a Chartered Mining Engineer. His operating experience includes Rössing Uranium in Namibia, Hamersley Iron in Australia, Renco Gold Mine in Zimbabwe, West Driefontein Gold Mine in South Africa and British Coal’s Thoresby Colliery. Howard holds an MSc DIC in Mineral Project Appraisal from the Royal School of Mines and a BEng in Mining Engineering.
Ollie was previously Associate Director on the WestLB Metals & Mining team, contributing towards the development of a leading global mining finance franchise. He joined WestLB following an MSc DIC in Mineral Project Appraisal at the Royal School of Mines in London, and has also completed the Corporate Finance Programme at the London Business School. Ollie holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Bristol and is an Associate of the Securities & Investments Institute.
